Sport Camps

About the Project​

The Sport Camps project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The main target group of the project is people in precarious situation, such as young prisoners and refugees, as well as prisons and refugee shelters staff.

The project aims to strengthen social skills of young prisoners and refugees, and to support their successful rehabilitation, inclusion and integration in the society

As for prisons and refugee shelters staff, the project aims at strengthening their knowledge, reducing prejudices against prisoners and refugees, empowering their social skills and ability to deal with conflict and work as a part of a team, as well as their self-motivation and ability to motivate others.

In the context of the project, young refugees and prisoners, as well as prisons and refugee shelters employees from the participating countries will take part in five sport camps that will be organized in their countries by the members of the project’s consortium.
