PARTICIPANTS: Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Turkey
HEPA2RKids is a European sport project with the main objective to socially include migrant children through health-enhancing physical activity. The project lasts for 24 months (01/2019-12/2020) and involves 5 organisations from 5 European countries:
- SuperKid – School of Sport (Croatia),
- European Institute for Local Development – EILD (Greece),
- Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Margherita Sport e Vita Basket – Msv Basket (Italy),
- MEDesTU (Portugal)
- Inonu University (Turkey)
The kick off meeting took place in Zagreb on the 13th of March presenting the core and the deliverables of the project. The partners briefed the attendants with respect to their organization’s work experience and relevant projects.
SuperKid – School of Sport, as the coordinator, put the emphasis on establishing strategic partnerships with the National Focal Points of each country and another organization working directly with refugees.
What is more, the partners discussed the methodology of collecting data with regards to GDPR regulation especially when it comes to kids.
Next meeting is set for Athens (GR) on July to present the training module and its implementation.
