HEPA2RKIDS Goes To Athens, GR

TITLE: ‘HEPA2RKids’

GRANT DECISION Nr: 2018-2495/001-001

DURATION: 01/2019-12/2020

PARTICIPANTS: Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Turkey

As “HEPA2Rkids” project’s main deliverable is to socially include migrant and refugee children in their new countries of residence, and Greece being one of the countries with the highest rates of asylum seekers and migrants, one can easily identify the perfect match between the two parts (HEPA2Rkids & European Institute for Local Development (EILD) on behalf of Greece).

European Institute for Local Development (EILD) reached out to organizations based in Greece working directly with migrants and refugees to make the best of their experience in the field.

After an intensive summer of research, EILD can proudly announce the kick-off of its collaboration with Hellenic Red Cross, widely known as of the most acclaimed entities with regards to humanitarian aid.

On behalf of the Institute, we are more than happy to proceed with collaborating with the Multifunctional Department of Red Cross and looking forward to implementing the training activities within the following months.
