Dropouts

About the Project

This project supports university dropouts by recognizing the vocational skills, knowledge and abilities they have acquired during their studies to aid access to the job market and increase their employability with a particular, but not inclusive, focus on the skilled craft sector.

For this purpose the consortium in the project has set and aimed the following objectives. : Firstly, methods are transferred for counseling dropouts and an information brochure is available for the companies and the universities on how academic achievements can be acknowledged for a professional activity.

The aim of the project is to successfully transfer the project results to further partner countries. Specifically, it will work for the adaptation of best practices to the country-specific requirements (pdf leaflets, digital material etc.) and it will establish an advisory network on social media. The partners, moreover, will develop an adjusted country-specific approach on how to address university dropouts in the partner countries and inform them about the available opportunities on the job market.

The target group includes university dropouts, as well as, indirectly, people close to them, such as parents, relatives and friends
